Hi, I'm Laura Mangum Broome

Founder of iCope2Hope: From Hardship to Hope

I am a mother, identical twin, entrepreneur, resilience coach, author, and speaker. Over the past 30 years, I have been a military spouse, military mom, step mom, adoptive mom, caregiver, and volunteer. Most importantly, I am an overcomer.

From 2015 through 2016, I overcame breast cancer and the loss of my teenage son to suicide during my double mastectomy. My world was turned upside down. Then, after my chemo treatments ended, I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) which lowered my heart function to a 25% Ejection Fraction, a normal EF is above 50%. I grieved the loss of my son and the loss of my health.

Fast forward to the first half of 2020 when my world was turned upside down again. Our father passed away unexpectedly in February, two months later I had a heart transplant, and in June my husband chose to end our marriage of 27 years for his two-year relationship with another woman. To say I was devastated would be an understatement. My grief ran deep once again.

It was through these hardships that God reminded me how He takes care of His beloved children in times of deep pain and suffering. He provided, and continues to provide, all my needs through family and friends who support me and love me. God has a plan and a purpose for my new life. I trust Him completely because of how He stayed by my side through my previous adversities.

I am passionate to teach others these same resilience skills to overcome adversity and flourish in life.

This proven framework will empower you to improve decision making, persevere through challenges, and regain control of your life.

You will be able to apply this framework to any adversity you face.

You can transform hardship to hope and flourish in life! I'm living proof!
